Apple Cake
Danielle Murray's Apple Cake, from Jesse Imbach
Ingredients
- 3 cups flour
- 2 teaspoons cinnamon
- 1/2 teaspoon soda
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup butter
- 1/4 c oil
- 3 eggs
- 2 cups sugar
- 2 teaspoons vanilla
- 4 cups diced apples, 1” dice
Topping:
- 1 tablespoon cinnamon
- 1 tablespoon sugar
Directions
- Grease an angel food tube pan. 350°F oven.
- Sift together first 4 dry ingredients. In a mixer, cream together remaining ingredients except apples.
- Fold in the apples and put into the mold. Sprinkle with topping.
- Bake 1 hour and 5 minutes
